LMFAOO for anyone wondering this camera is notttt shaky. idk how you were soo shaky on filming lol you must of been on some kind of drug thats makes you shaky bc this camera does not shake that much. even without the image stabilizer rofl

This video convinced me this is the camcorder I have to pick up as my main go to. The focus in on the light shroud and the ds up against the lens were the kickers, great job and thanks.

No it only rattles when turned off. According to the manual on page 151 (English) at the very top it says that “A rattling can be heard from the camcorder – the internal lens fixture can move when the camcorder is turned off. This is not a malfunction.” I saw this after I had posted my comment – figures.

When the camera is off, it rattles because of the heavy duty lens cover.. Canon has already stated that’s what it is.

I just bought this camcorder, it rattles when on, right? I think it’s just fine.

Carlos, I just got this camcorder (Canon Vixia HF20) and was wondering if yours rattles when you shake the camcorder because mine rattles when you shake it and was wondering if it was a normal sound and I don’t mean the kind of shaking that the optical stabilizer would compensate for or whatever. If you could get back to me asap it would be greatly appreciated.

black friday today!!! went to best buy and they have this for 499.99. and for 100 bucks more you get another battery and an hdmi cable. this thing has one of the better reviews on cnet both from the editors and consumers. so i went ahead and got it.

As i search camcorder test on youtube , first , it suprise me that how many people love canon camcorder more than sony camcorder , and i ended up bought canon vixia hf 11. But in my experiment opinion, i should chosen sony hdr cx 500 ….one big problem i dont like with my can non is IMAGE STABLEBILITY…i am not talking about Optical Image Stablebility ….My canon film is shaking no mater what i try to contol my arm …iam very disapointed
