I’ll wait for iPad v 2.0 like the iPhone… I suppose it will have most of the features its missing in this version… most importantly the USB connectivity!!! but i still love it though

they most likely have made it, they are designing maybe 3 generation version because when the first iphone came out, a worked from apple was seen it public with the 3g networking 1

You know Apple, they’ll probably make the 2G much better and add a camera and stuff. But it’ll prbably be much more expensive. They’ve probably already started desgining it?

E-ink makes ebook readers nicer for reading. Staring at a bright screen is not as nice.

@ianhrp I absolutely love the N900. Thought OVI store is no use when you got the app manager where 95% of all the apps are.
I find personally the UI really intuitive. it’s something different and it got by far best web browser and multitasking capabilities than any other phone. While the TS is best resistive i have tried i’m hoping to see capacitive from next maemo phone.

been using the n900 for the last month or so and have to say its a good device, some little bits that are annoying but the new software update has improved it. The keyboard you get used to and the Ovi store has some good apps on its.

I saw on a site somewhere, who said that ebooks need to be e ink ?

It shouldn’t be marketed as an ebook reader. That’s just a small thing along the side. It doesn’t have electronic ink, for a start.

iPad is just a bigger version of the iPod Touch, with 3G. And about 3 added features, I can’t see this selling largely.

And about the USB thing…Apple have a an adapter if you want USB.
