Galaxy XCover6 Pro Officially Comes with Snapdragon 778G and 5G Connectivity • Jagat Gadget

Samsung has finally officially released the Galaxy XCover6 Pro. This is a durable smartphone from the XCover series that is the first to come with 5G support. The XCover series itself usually comes with specifications that are not so qualified, but this time it’s a little different.

Bringing 5G support, this smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 778G SoC, which is quite well known as a fast mid-range SoC. This is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

For the screen, it uses a 6.6-inch PLS LCD with FHD + resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This screen has been coated with Gorilla Glass Victus + and has a high screen sensitivity, where the screen can be operated even in wet conditions.

Durability is definitely the main selling point of this smartphone. The XCover6 Pro is IP68 water and dust resistant and is MIL-810H certified.

The battery capacity is 4050mAh, with a removable battery model. So users can replace the cellphone battery with a spare battery, if at any time they are in a location that is difficult to get electricity for charging. While the charging support is still using 15W.

The camera section of the camera is also an important feature on this smartphone. XCover6 Pro features a 50MP f/1.8 main camera, plus an 8MP ultrawide with an f/2.2 aperture. There’s a 13MP selfie camera on the front tucked into a waterdrop notch.

This smartphone runs on the Android 12 operating system, using the OneUI interface. Other features include speaker boost mode, headphone jack, and Samsung DeX support.

Unfortunately, Samsung has not revealed the retail price of this device and it will be available in any market. But hopefully this device will enter the Indonesian market, because it will be very suitable for users who like activities in outdoor environments. This smartphone is expected to be officially released along with the Galaxy Tab Active4 in mid-July.
