Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH), together with Ericsson as a strategic partner, was officially announced as the Official 5G Partner for the Jakarta E-Prix 2022 event.
IOH will provide 5G services around the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC) locations to provide the best digital telecommunications experience. Good for the racers, racing team crew, and the committee involved, as well as the end of the event.
Later, IOH and Ericsson will implement a 5G non-standalone network using the 3.5GHz spectrum, for the 5G network experience in these regions and events.

5G Coverage Area at the Jakarta E-Prix . Event
For visitors who want to experience 5G from IOH and Ericsson, they can visit the booth located at the Jakarta Royal Suite and the E-Village area on the north side of Ancol Beach City. There, customers can see various use cases utilizing 5G technology, such as 5G cloud gaming and the Fitt 360 neckband camera experience.
To experience the 5G IOH service, customers only need to use a 5G mobile phone, use a uSIM, use an internet package, and be in an area covered by the 5G network.
“5G technology, which is not just a matter of speed, will provide a new experience in enjoying sports, especially car racing. This support for the Government’s agenda is also in line with IOH’s mission to provide a world-class digital telecommunications experience, connect and empower the people of Indonesia,” concluded Buldansyah.
